Description
Ellendale used to fill the gap between Nova and Ortanique until W.Murcotts became so widely available. It is an Australian variety that resembles a Murcott but tends to be a larger fruit that is not as smooth skinned as a Murcott. Nevertheless Ellendale is an easy peeler with good color, shape and taste and can be easily substituted for a W. Murcott. Available mostly in 65-80mm.
Recommended period for export is week 2 to week 6.
