Description
Lamas is the late season variety available to harvest from week 49 through as late as week 15. It is much more stable in price and quantity than Interdonato because the crop is less affected from adverse climate conditions in spring and summer, and market dynamics are better established at harvest time. The first Lamas harvest is stored in caves around Cappadocia and kept for the domestic sales in May, June, July, and August until the start of Meyer harvest. Abundant sizes differ from year to year.
Recommended period for export is week 49 through week 11.
